The use of technology in instrumental teaching is still a relatively new concept and it’s worth saying at the outset that the resources on this website are there to support you as a teacher and to enhance pupils’ practice. There is no sense of the computer becoming the teacher.

Instrumental teachers use the resources in several ways to support whole class ‘Wider Opportunities’ and small-group instrumental teaching. We are very aware of the particular challenges faced especially by peripatetic teachers when using digital learning resources in practice and have therefore put in a lot of effort to make their use for you as straightforward as possible.
